FLESH LIGHTS are a three piece based out of Austin, Tx. they were recently featured on Matador's Casual Victim Pile compilation and just released this debut 7 on Twistworthy Records this past September. They are currently recording for a full length. i got a little preview recently, lots of great hooks and lots of shredding . get drunk and french somebody.

The record is limited to 300 hand numbered copies and should move fast! Each record also includes a personalized hand-drawn insert containing various nuggets of wisdom from the band and various other contributors! And to up the ante even more, they all come with a digital download so you can easily put that shit on your mobile listening devices. SMALL FACES RONNIE LANE PASSING SHOW DOCUMENTARY

"My Mind's Eye" was originally intended to be an album track by the band but was released as a single without their knowledge or consent whilst touring in the north of England. Arden had been eager for the group to release a song before Christmas and released an unfinished, rough demo copy in his possession. The single was a hit, reaching number 4 on the UK singles chart, but in terms of relations between Arden and Small Faces, it was to signal the end of the band's relationship with both Arden and Decca

THE GIZMOS- HOOSIER HYSTERIA / NEVERMIND THE SEX PISTOLS HERE'S THE GIZMOS

The Gizmos did a split 12" with Dow Jones & The Industrials on Gulcher Records in 1980 called Hoosier Hysteria. These are my favorite recordings along with the Nevermind The Sex Pistols Here's The Gizmos 7" EP 1978. Man, I love this stuff, super catchy and fun! Lots of cool rock n roll coming out of indiana these days as well, I highly recommend checking out Eric & The Happy Thoughts . Hozac records is supposed to be putting out full length from these guys real soon.I know I'm lookin forward...I wanna know more about these "Indiana Girls."

A.D.s- living downtown

this is just a tuff fuckin song! the b side jams as well. I just found a copy and i'm pretty excited about it! hope you enjoy it as much as i do. The A.D.'s were from Albany, NY, comprised of vocalist, Jim Furlong, and Bob Nati on guitars, along with an ever-changing rhythm section. They released three singles and an LP on Blue Lunch Records between 1980-87. The "Living Downtown" 7 inch was released in 1980.
